Moving Forward

Hey, remember last Tuesday, when I ran into a guy at a meeting who gave me his card? Less than a week later, I have a job offer! Makes a great story, huh! The job is just for 9 months, and perhaps might not be fascinating (or maybe it WILL be, who knows???), but the pay is excellent and the commute not bad. I hope I didn't mess up, because I told the fellow I had to think about it, but I really thought it necessary to run it by some folks (amusingly, my partner, my ex and my dear pal where I used to work) to make sure I was thinking straight. I am just a BIT concerned that I will have to do this search thing all over again. But maybe not. Maybe it will turn permanent, ya never know. And I am currently thinking POSITIVE.

I am so effing relieved to not have to worry about losing the house and all that stuff.

To all of you reading this who were sending thoughts, prayers, vibes, and all that, I extend my deepest appreciation. I know it all helped, and it certainly does help to know you have good and loyal friends. Balances having to deal with some friends being less than that, and helps me not be such a darned pessimist.
