Yeah, we are all walking bundles of contradictions--I knew that!
Mostly I am happy I survived the drive in. More bad traffic and dense fog. But my sweet man let me take the easier vehicle today and that helped.
Plus, there was a bonus, thanks to the fog. All the spider webs along the railing of the elevated path we take from the parking lot to the building at work looked like the one above. (I think the picture is of the same kind of web, from a person named Valerie.) I really enjoyed looking at the variety of dew-covered natural Halloween decorations! The loud warbler who greeted me two days in a row was gone--hopefully she was drying off.

I wish I could have seen those spider webs! They sound beautiful. I am happy you survived the drive in and noticed them.
